Nursery Netball

Watch this space for information on Nursery Netball.
Registration is at Lilli Pilli Netball Courts during the second last week of Term One (date to be advised). The cost is $30.
Nursery netball runs during Term 2 for one night a week from 3.30pm to 4.15pm. Players also participate in some games on a Saturday at Seymour Shaw against other nursery netball players.

Welcome to the 2011 Netball Season! It will be great to see all of our members returning for another fun year of netball. To all new members joining us, we extend a special welcome.

Requirements:
•  Completed registration form for each player (can be downloaded from under FORMS)
•  New players to the club under 18yrs must produce their birth certificate or current passport
•  U8/U9 players do NOT require photos
•  Existing members in U10 years in 2011 must supply 2 identical passport size photos. Girls 13′s and older who have played for 3 consecutive years need to provide new photos
•  New members to the club in 2011, Junior (U10+) and Senior grades, must supply 2 new identical passport size photos
•  There will be no photos taken on Registration Day by the club
•  Appropriate fees (CASH or CHEQUE only)

All players need to attend in person to sign their pink card.
Incomplete registrations will not be accepted.

Players Fees:

Nursery Netball $30
Juniors 8-9yrs $135
Juniors 10-15yrs $155
Seniors 17yrs $150
Seniors $150

Please note – a late registration fee of $10/player may apply if you register after the registration days.

Coaches & Managers:

Please consider these very important jobs for your team or your child’s team.

If you are interested, please tell your registrar, as every team MUST have a manager and coach to register in the competition.

A brief description of a manager’s role would be:

Inform team of season’s draw
Distribution of information to team members from Executive usually via email
Ensure score sheets are correctly completed and scoring is shared with opposition
Attend Thistles club meetings or arrange for your team to be represented
Assist your coach where needed

For those who are interested in coaching, our Coaching Co-ordinator, Karlene Hughes, can offer assistance and guidance to you and will keep you informed of dates & times of coaching clinics. You can contact her on 9525 8953. Coaching a team is not restricted to a team you or your children are in. If you would like to coach another team it can be easily arranged.

Umpiring:

All senior teams must supply their own umpires.
All junior teams and 17’s teams will have their umpires allocated to them by the club

Grading:

All Junior teams from 10yr to 15yr inclusive are required for grading. These times can be found on the website under Grading Times. It is compulsory to attend all sessions of your age group’s grading.
