Welcome to 2012.
If you will be in year 1 or year 2 in 2012 and turning 6 or 7 this year, then you can play in the Thistles Netball Club Nursery Netball.
Please note – if you are turning 7 and are in year 2, you also have the option to play in the SSNA Netta Competition in the U8. If you would like further information on this, please contact Jodie Byrnes on 0427 600 544 .
Nursery Netball runs for Term 2 only and will be on Tuesday afternoons from 3:30 – 4:15pm at the netball courts next to Lilli Pilli Infants School..
Nursery Netball is aimed to be a fun introduction to netball. The girls will learn the rules of netball and basic skills by playing ball games and other fun exercises in preparation for Netta Netball (8’s and 9’s). There is also the opportunity to play some games against other clubs on Saturdays towards the end of the season.
Registration details are as follows:
Location: Netball Courts next to Lilli Pilli School (infants section)
Date: To be advised, normally end of term one.
Requirements: Completed registration form (can be downloaded from the website or will be available at registration)
Uniforms: Not required
Cost: Registration fee of $30 (this includes membership to the SSNA, insurance and participation award) (Cash or cheque only)
