Coaches

We are always looking for new and experienced Coaches to take on one of Thistles many teams.

Coaching is an enjoyable and rewarding experience and yes – sometimes a frustrating one.

Thistles is again providing all Coaches personal access to the online coaching resource My Netball Coach and a Coaches Facebook page where additional resources and suggestions are shared regularly with Thistles coaches.

In addition, we also make available to our Coaches all SSNA Stingrays Coaching sessions and Thistles Club Coaching sessions, when available.

Our Coaching Coordinator is available to support and assist you with any questions and more resources to help build your capabilities and confidence to coach your team.

Managers

Each team is required to have a Manager and a good manager is a huge asset for a team.

The main duty of a Manager is as a communication link between the team, the Coach and the Club so as to ensure everything is in place for the team to take the court each week.

While it looks busy, the role is pretty straight forward and fun. A list of key duties and suggestions can be provided.
